A strange thought came across my mind…

Would you rather be the vibrant autumn leaves, or the quiet evergreens?

The maples are vibrant,  widely captured in photographs, and celebrated for its colors. And yet, its beauty lies in its transient nature. That short little moment… before it fades away.

Meanwhile, the quiet pines stood strong, and yet goes mostly unnoticed. It stays awake in greens for a long time… but perhaps felt a little lonely.

Fire Dance

Beautiful, vibrant, and full of warmth
Dances freely along with the wind

But isn’t ironic, that one of the most beautiful of all creations…
Is made to be ultimately untouchable?

Sometimes, I think of you as the flame.


I always loved water: its serenity, calmness, along with its powerful soars. But recently, I’ve noticed just how breathtakingly beautiful fire can be. And so, I did a series of photography experimentation playing with flames, shadow, and movement.

Ocean’s Call

Sky, so high and vast
Sun, so bright and blinding
Sea, so deep and puzzling
Sand and shells, countless yet precious
So who are we, in the face of nature?

I’m living most of my days in the midst of concrete jungle. And so perhaps, my most treasured moment of my trip is to sit by the waters for hours, staring at the waves, listening to the call of the ocean.
